THE GAG CUP
The Directors of the GAG
Group have yet again agreed to sponsor the popular matchplay competition.
To ensure the smooth running of the tournament, the following will apply.
1. £2.00 entry
fee, to be donated to the Captains Charity.
2. No matches to be
played on society meeting days.
3. It will
be the responsibility of both players to arrange a time and venue for their
match.
4. Matches
can be played as two 9’s or one 18 hole. More if you both agree.
5. Society
handicaps to be used, ¾ difference. Strict R&A rules to apply.
6. In the
event of a match not being completed by the “play by” date, the member to
progress will be decided by the toss of a coin.
7. There
will be a separate draw for each round.
8. The
winner to let Nic Paris know the match result by one of the following methods.

9. Semi finals
and final to be played the same day, venue to be confirmed.
10. Players
who wish to enter the competition please inform Nic Paris by the 20th
April 2005, the date of our 3nd society meeting at Okehampton.
